Taken with permission from soulsymmetrical and slightly modified to use Death instead of Kid.

Lord Death has the ability to see other people's souls. In doing so, he can get a general idea of what a character is like—such as their personality, whether they're good or evil, or even if they're human or not. The souls serve as a kind of "ID Mark" so if activated, he can recognize someone by their soul. This also means he's capable of tracking someone by searching for their soul wavelength, but it's not precise and he has to be within a certain range to do it. It's mostly an "active" skill, meaning Death has to activate it to fully concentrate and utilize it. However, as a death god Death is also sensitive to soul wavelengths in general, so he'll be able to passively pick up faint traces of powerful souls.
So with that in mind, just fill out this little form to let me know what all Kid can determine about a character's soul! This...probably won't happen that often (by default I won't have him look), but should the case arise, I'd like to have a good handle.
Also, in Soul Eater world, the souls also have physical characteristics that also represent the person, so if you want your character to have some kind of spiffy design, feel free xD

Any specific traits he would be able to note? Rosalia is a very loving person; she is careful and her soul harbors some sadness under the surface, but she is also resolutely optimistic and strong because of it.
BONUS! Soul Description Light pink, but with ugly black bruises on the underside of her soul. Her hair's tied up with her distinctive ribbons.

Any specific traits he would be able to note? An exceptionally strong will, especially as concerns protecting her friends. Looking past that a bit, she also has a bit of an inferiority complex in relation to those same friends. Fiercely loyal.
BONUS! Soul Description Chie's soul is more or less just her Persona, since in her canon the Persona is essentially just a representation of a person's inner potential and mastery over their repressed emotions. If you'd prefer to translate it strictly into Soul Eater terms for when she doesn't have the Persona out, feel free to have Death see it as a little bouncing ball of soul energy with a chibi version of the helmet in the picture.

Any specific traits he would be able to note? She's old and has a very long concept of time, being a cosmic creature spinning for ages while watching the earth. She can also bounce back from low emotional states rapidly. Good. Billions of years of experience because she's a star. But much of her experience with people has been observing them, except for her family of stars and some talks with moons.

Any specific traits he would be able to note? He's brave, compassionate, and has a very strong will, but it's steadily being eaten by the power of the Ring, and for how long he's carried it. And although he was pure at the beginning, it's slowly being corrupted, especially with how close he gets to destroying it. So anymore, he struggles more than he doesn't.
BONUS! Soul Description asdf hmmm. I can see a really pretty light green, but at a battle with a mean orangey/red color, or maybe even a purple, or black?

Any specific traits he would be able to note? Loooots of anguish, guilt and remorse, a sense of isolation, but his heart's in the right place and he truly cares for humanity.
BONUS! Soul Description: This, except a bit rounder. Round enough not to poke anyone's eye out at least.
Extra: Death can certainly tell that he's of another species (yeah he's pretty much an alien) but probably won't be able to pinpoint what he is exactly, since he's not a canonmate.

Any specific traits he would be able to note? He would probably notice a very broken person since she's lost pretty much everyone she cares about at one time or another. However she is kind to a fault though very timid. A motherly figure.
